All forms of payment are always 100% upfront. As soon as you place an order online your credit and/ or debit card will be charged. We have zero tolerance for credit card fraud and theft of our merchandise.

Due to units being handmade and/ or custom NO REFUNDS are honored.
PAYMENT TERMS/ONLINE STORE POLICY

Once payment is made you have a 24 hour grace period for cancellations.

As an extra step to protect our business from fraud, we require customers to submit a government issued photo ID or valid license to authorize transactions.

Wrongful Disputes will result in small claims court if wig and/ or money isn’t returned.

Please allow 2-5 business days for processing

We are open M-F. Any orders Saturday or Sunday will be processed Monday morning unless it's a holiday.

No shipment will take place on Sundays or holidays

Please review shipping methods to receive an estimated time frame of the delivery of your package.

All units are shipped out with $100 insurance, please contact shipping carrier(UPS) to claim if needed.

SHIPPING POLICY

Please allow 3-5 business days for all wig shipments to arrive unless you pay for priority/rush shipping during checkout.

If units are ready to ship they will be dispatched the following day unless the following day falls on a Sunday.

Please remember that processing time and shipping time are not the same thing. Processing time is the time it takes for UBL to verify and prepare your order. Shipping time is the time it takes for your order to be delivered to you once we ship it. Shipping time or speed varies based on shipping selected at checkout. However, processing times can fluctuate based on the season.

Orders are shipped via UPS. Once your order is shipped you will receive a tracking number via email. Please allow up to 2-4 hours for tracking to update.
EXCHANGES

NO exchanges are permitted unless we are at fault.

Requests must be made within 3 days

ANY exchanges requested after 3 days of receiving the product will NOT be honored.

According to the federal law, you cannot return used human hair due to hygienic reasons. Please return the unit in its original condition as a necessary health caution. We will not accept any units that has been used or altered(washed, brushed, cut,etc)

Any exchanges upon customer request, customer is responsible for shipping cost, as that is a separate service that has already been used.

We have the right to decline items if they have been tampered with or sent back past the 3 business day period.
WIG SERVICES
At the moment, we offer 4 wig services: Wig customization, Wig revamp, Closure installs, and BYOB(bring your own bundles).

When booking our Wig maintenance and or customization service please be advised that we are located in KCMO, if you're not local, the shipping address will be sent to you immediately after placing your order via email. We will cover all shipping cost to return your unit back to you once completed. Shipping address will not be given until booking is placed. NO exceptions.

If you are local, drop off and pick up address will be sent to your email immediately after booking.

In order to proceed with wig revamps, we'll need a photo of your unit before or immediately after booking in order to give you the final total depending on the condition of your unit. You can send us pictures via email(unitsbylex@gmail.com) or via Instagram(@unitsbylexllc) in most cases, no additional fee is required but if their is, the remaining balance will have to be paid before completion of your unit.

The turnaround time for wig revamp/ customization is 2-3 business days.

The turnaround time for Wig construction/ BYOB( bring your bundles) is 1-4 business days.

VERIFICATION FORM

UnitsByLex uses a "Verification form" as an identification method to prevent the use of stolen credit cards and help with compliance. We want to assure customers are who they say they are, avoid losing money, minimize/prevent online fraud, and most importantly protect our customers.

UnitsByLexLLC requires a verification form for our protection as well. Wig Businesses are considered “High Risk' meaning we are vulnerable for fraud, We want to ensure only legit people are using our platform, you'll receive the form via email after placing an order.

FORM MUST BE SUBMITTED

A valid ID/ License is required.

Form must be complete within 2 days after placing an order or your booking may be forfeited.

In cases where the verification form is refused and the order has already started, A full refund will NOT be given because money was already spent on your order. NO EXCEPTIONS!
ON HAND UNITS

All on hand units are sized 21.5-22.5 which is the standard sizing for a woman's head.

ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS for on hand units, they are sold as is.

As of now, we accept Sezzle and Afterpay. When selecting these during checkout please be mindful that they’re through a third party app.

When placing an order using Afterpay, your order will be processed as normal. They have no holding period.

When placing an order using Sezzle, they have their own processing time of 10 business days to prevent fraudulent charges and to ensure payments are being made. Once your payment has been processed and released, your 3-5 business days for your UBL will begin. Please understand we have 0 control over any third party company. Any issue with their platform must be reported to them.
